Chondroitin Sulfate

Chondroitin sulfate is a glycosaminoglycan, a component of proteoglycans, occuring in the cartilage of the human body. In a chemical sense it is a chain of alternating sugars.

They are sulfated in different positions and quantities.

The commercially available form is sodium chondroitin sulfate.

It is a mixture of isomers, the most important ones being chondroitin sulfate A and C.

Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10, also known as CoQ10 or ubiquinone, is a vital compound found in every cell of the human body.

It plays a crucial role in energy production within the mitochondria,

acting as an essential coenzyme for various enzymatic reactions. Beyond its energy-boosting capabilities, Coenzyme Q10 also serves as a powerful antioxidant, protecting cells from oxidative damage and supporting overall health.

Collagen

Collagens are the most abundant proteins in mammals. Collagens play structural roles and contribute to mechanical properties, organization, and shape of tissues.

Based on the historical order of their discovery, 28 types of collagens—type I through type XXVIII—have been identified and described up to the current day.

They are vitals proteins that play a fundamental role in maintaining the strength and elasticity of our skin, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues. They provide structural support and promote healthy cell regeneration. As we age, our collagen production decreases, leading to the appearance of wrinkles, sagging skin, and joint discomfort.

Glucosamine

D-glucosamine (C6H13NO5) or 2-amino-2-deoxy-D-glucose is an amino sugar (hexosamine) with a molecular weight of 179.17, naturally present in human body and crustacean shells.

It is a precursor of biochemical synthesis of the GAGs (glycosaminoglycans) found in cartilage. Premature loss of cartilage is part of the clinical syndrome recognized as OA (osteoarthritis).

Glucosamine in the form of glucosamine sulphate, glucosamine hydrochloride, or N-acetyl-glucosamine is extensively used as a dietary supplement in the treatment for osteoarthritis, knee pain, and back pain, and a critical evaluation indicated that glucosamine is safe under current conditions of use and does not affect glucose metabolism.

Grape Seed Extract

Grapes have been praised since ancient times for their beneficial effects on human health. Today polyphenols present in grape seeds and red wine explain the so-called French Paradox, a term referring to the observation that although dietary fat intake in France is similar to that in many other European countries (e.g.

Germany), incidence of cardiovascular disease is significantly lower.

Our Grape Seed Extract is one of the most effective grape seed extracts in the world, very rich in the smaller polyphenol fractions (monomeres and dimeres).

Herbal Extracts

Herbal extracts are concentrated forms of medicinal plants, capturing the therapeutic properties and bioactive compounds found in the plant’s various parts, such as leaves, roots, stems, and flowers.

Phytotherapy started thousands of years ago by making tea from certain plant parts. These were often dried for storage and  ground into powder, the herbal powders. In a later stage, extracts were made, the ratio extracts. These are simple concentrations like a 4:1. Later, they started making standardized extracts. These are not only concentrated, but also standardized to guarantee a certain percentage of an active substance.

MSM (Methylsulfonyl Methane)

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring organosulfur compound utilized as a complementary and alternative medicine under a variety of names including dimethyl sulfone, methyl sulfone, sulfonylbismethane, organic sulfur, or crystalline dimethyl sulfoxide..

Red Yeast Rice

Red Yeast Rice is a traditional Chinese food and medicinal product that has gained recognition worldwide. It is a type of fermented rice obtained by a specific strain of red yeast (Monascus purpureus), resulting in a vibrant reddish-purple color. It is produced by cultivating Monascus purpureus on polished and steamed rice.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Sodium hyaluronate (SH) is a polysaccharide belonging to the glycosaminoglycans, made up of the disaccharide units constituted of N-acetylglucosamine and D-glucuronic acid. It is a component of the connective, epithelial, and nervous tissues and it represents a substantial constituent of the extracellular matrix. SH has a wide range of molecular weights. The molecular weight of our SH is ranging from 10000 DA until 3000000 DA. The SH average molecular weight can influence its physico-chemical properties.

Vitamin K2-7

In nature, vitamin K occurs in two main forms namely, phylloquinone (vitamin K1) and various menaquinones.

(vitamin K2). Vitamin K2 is a fat soluble vitamin that has the ability to cross the blood brain barrier due to its lipophilic nature. All the existing forms of vitamin K2 consist of a common moiety in their chemical structure which is a 2-methyl1,4-naphthoquinone ring. This core chemical structure of vitamin K2 is called menadione.

Our product is vitamin K2-7, also known as menaquinone-7 (MK-7), a form of vitamin K that has health beneficial effects.
